PONTE ESTREITA- NARROW BRIDGE

Ponte estreita à frente.
Lenta passagem,
Um só de cada vez,
Tempo suficiente
Para que lhe seja perguntado
Sobre o seu comportamento
Na estrada
E fora dela.
E se você tem mesmo certeza
Do destino a que quer chegar.
E também lhes serão perguntadas
Coisas de outra natureza,
De alguma forma ligadas às outras,
Como por exemplo,
Como é que estão
A taxa do colesterol
E o trigliceris.

Narrow bridge ahead.
Slow passage,
One at a time,
There will be enough time
To you be asked
On your behavior
On the road
And beyond.
And if you have even sure
The destination to which you want to reach.
And also you will be asked
Things otherwise,
In some way linked to one another,
As an example,
How are your
Cholesterol rate
And your trigliceris.

PAU E PEDRA- WOOD AND STONE

A compaixão, acende sentimentos
Inexistentes e faz o milagre
Do difícil ficar fácil.
Entretanto, por fora ainda sou bruto,
Ainda sou de pau e de pedra!

From time to time, coming from I don't know where,
The wave, which is not mine,
Flood my heart.
Compassion, kindles feelings
Non-existent and does the miracle
From hard to easy.
However, on the outside I am still a brute,
I'm still made of wood and stone!

95

Os números têm funções insondáveis,
Alguns se ajuntam em dados sigilosos
Outros não aparecerão nunca
Na aposta da Mega-Sena,
Enquanto outros farão questão
De se darem às estatísticas da pobreza.
Entretanto há aparições singelas
Como, por exemplo, a do nove e do cinco,
Que se reuniram
Para dar vida a uma casa!

Numbers have unfathomable functions,
Some gather in sensitive data
Others will never appear
In the lottery bet,
While others will question
Of giving themselves to the poverty statistics.
However, there are simple appearances
Like, for example, nine and five,
who gathered
To give life to a house!

BAILE DA VIDA- PARTY OF LIFE

Vou de verde e vermelho,
Roupa básica repetida.
Uma olhada no espelho
Estou pronto, baile da vida!

I will go in green and red
Basic Clothing, repeated.
A look in the mirror
I'm ready, the party of life!

PÉS CALÇADOS E PÉS DESCALÇOS- SHOD AND BARE FOOT

Aqui passaram pés calçados,
borzeguins autoritários,
E pés nus, a esmo,
e a marca do diário atrito do aqui passar!

Here shod feet passed, authoritarian boots,
And bare feet, aimlessly,
No importance whether going up or down.
Here was the mark of what was built,
The wear and tear of man's deconstruction,
And the mark of daily friction from here pass!

MENTIRAS CONVENIENTES- CONVENIENT LIES

Pelo meu profundo “respeito humano,”
Vivo de mentiras convenientes,
Neste mundo de penumbra estou bem,
Pois é ele que muito me convém!

Out of my profound “respect for humanity,”
I live on convenient lies,
In this world of shadows I am well,
For it is this world that suits me best.

VENDO- ON SALE

Vendo carro velho.
Da década de 50,
Um veículo especial
Que, por ter tido muitos donos,
Aprendeu muitos humores diferentes.
Avançou o sinal algumas vezes,
E já até atropelou, confesso,
Mas sempre a mando do motorista.
O motor há que lhe ensinar novamente
Os princípios da combustão interna.
O novo dono tem que ser desprendido
A não se importar
Com a sua poltrona esburacada.
E deve gostar de emoções,
A de poder achar, por exemplo,
Uma caneta velha
Ou alguma antiga lembrança
No oculto do porta-malas.
E também tem que ser paciente
E não querer
Que ele saia rodando.
Antes da nova identidade
Do Departamento de Trânsito.
O felizardo que possuí-lo
Levará consigo, de graça,
Sem acréscimo de preço,
Todas as emoções
Que fizeram este carro
Ficar velho.

I sell an old car.
50s,
A special vehicle
That, having had a lot of owners,
Learned many different moods.
It crossed the signal sometimes
And hit someone once, I confess,
But always at the behest of the driver.
The engine, you must teach it again
The principles of internal combustion.
The new owner has to be detached
To not give any importance
With its bumpy chair.
And must like emotions,
The pleasure to find, for example,
An old pen
Or some old memory
Hidden in the trunk.
And must also be patient
And not wanting
The car quit running.
Before the new identity
From Traffic Department.
The lucky owner of it
Will take for free,
Without additional charge,
All emotions
What made this car

Gets old.

Meu o sol,
Minha a luminosidade.

I left home thinking that was my morning.
Mine the sun,
Mine the brightness,
Mine the trees and the effects of green.
As a child of a few years,
That to be pleased,
Must possess the things he sees!

ESPERANDO- WAITING

Vivo de esperanças,

De dia lindo,

Dos problemas resolvidos,

Da casa cheia

E do final feliz!

I live on hope,

On a beautiful day,

On problems solved,

On a full house,

And a happy ending!

CONTINUAR- GO ON

Muitas ideias se perderam,
Muitas pessoas se foram.
A fumaça do fogão
E o café novo
São somente porque
O mundo deve continuar!

Many ideas were lost
Many people are gone.
the smoke from the stove
and the new coffee
are only because
The world must go on!

A VENTANIA DE CADA UM- THE WIND OF EACH US

Assovio, faço barulho e xingo.

Carrego comigo

A minha própria ventania

Que justifica tudo que faço!

I whistle, I make noise, and I curse.

I carry with me

My own wind

That justifies everything I do!

O RESTO DE MIM MESMO- THE REST OF MYSELF

Não me preocupo mais
O meu destino está selado.
O que me incomoda, entretanto,
É a falta que faz
O resto de mim mesmo!

I'm not worried anymore.
My fate is sealed.
What bothers me, however,
Is the void left by
The rest of myself!

The people I pass,
On the subway and on the sidewalks,
The beggars and those who extend their hands
At traffic lights,
They are all invisible.
It's not enough to be in front of me
To be visible!

O SEU TEMPO ACABOU- YOUR TIME IS UP

Tudo que você prometeu,
A si mesmo
Você não cumpriu.
O seu dia passou,
Seu tempo acabou!

Everything you promised yourself,
You didn't keep.
Your day is over,
Your time is up!
