São olhares repetidos
Que a gente faz sem porquê.
Nasci com esta rotina
Infinda, aqui,
Do vir e vir!
 
 
Here I am again
On this beach
Front to the sea.
These are repeated looks
That we do without reason.

Endless, here,
From coming and coming!

O homem faz do minério de ferro,

Ferro puro.

A natureza, contrariada,

Lentamente,

Faz com que o ferro puro

Volte de onde veio,

Ao minério.

PAU E PEDRA- WOOD AND STONE

 

De vez em quando, vindo não sei de onde,
A onda, que não é minha,
Inunda meu coração.
A compaixão, acende sentimentos
Inexistentes e faz o milagre
Do difícil ficar fácil.
Entretanto, por fora ainda sou bruto,
Ainda sou de pau e de pedra!
 
From time to time, coming from I don't know where,

O natural da pedra
É não é ser esquadrejada
É não formar contraforte,
E nem arco
Que desafie a gravidade.
Tal como o homem,
A pedra gosta mesmo
É de ser despojada
E de viver espalhada por aí
Em qualquer lugar.
Nunca de ficar perfilada
O tempo todo 
Na rígida disciplina
Do eterno  mister de ser ponte.
