Por formas novas,

Em efusiva oferta de cores,

De gestos e de significados

Que nada tem a ver

Com a procura

Dessa minha história!

Nem bonito

Nem feio,

sou assim, como nasci,

e desavisado,

como sempre

vivi!

as always

I lived!

IMPUSO - IMPULSE

 

Quando o impulso vier
O de fazer o bem,
Atenda-o logo,
Pois logo virão pedras,
Escuras e indesejáveis
A sepultar a vontade,
Trazendo a dúvida
Sobre a origem
Daquele pensamento.
Onde nasceu, em mim?

 
When the impulse comes
that of doing good,
Wait for it soon
For soon the stones will come,
dark and unwanted
To bury the will,
bringing the doubt
about the origin
From that thought.
Where was it born, in me?

ESCADA PARA O CÉU- LADDER TO HEAVEN

 

Era uma vez uma escada para o céu.
De tão alta que era
Ninguém nunca conseguiu chegar ao topo,
Demorava tanto
Que as pessoas morriam de velhice antes
Do final.
 
Once upon a time there was a ladder to heaven.
It was so high
Nobody ever made it to the top,
Well it took so long
That people died of old age before
from the end.

A vida nos dá imagens invertidas
De forma a transitarmos confiantes
Do real ao virtual, entretidos.
A simetria, os iguais mas opostos,
Revela, não se imagina,
Todo o mundo tem dois rostos!
 
Life gives us mirror images
In order to move confidently
From real to virtual, entertained.
The symmetry, the equal but opposite,
It reveals, it is not imagined,
Everyone has two faces!

Daqui serei levado.
Irão também
As minhas experiências
De tudo que observei
Daqui do alto,
Na vida de todos.
Terá isto sido em vão?

PÁSSAROS- BIRDS

 

Pensamentos bons são assim,
Um bando de pássaros raros.
Chegam em revoada
E, furtivos,em voo único,
Se afastam.
Por que será que não ficam mais tempo
Aqui perto,
Sendo que não há
A exigência
De que fiquem em minhas mãos,
Mas apenas que,
Calmamente,
Fiquem parados
Para que
Sejam vistos?
 
Good thoughts are this way,
A bunch of rare birds.
They arrive in flock
And, furtive in a single flight,
Depart.
Why they did not stay longer
Near here,
Since there are no requirements
To  stay in my hands,
But stay quiet,
So that
They can be seen?
