Hoje eu ia ver o meu amigo João,

Depois daria uma longa caminhada

E tiraria muitas fotos.

Então mudei meus planos…

De se darem às estatísticas da pobreza.
Entretanto há aparições singelas
Como, por exemplo, a do quatro e do oito,
Que se reuniram
Para dar vida a uma casa!

De lá ouço leve som
De música alta.
Aqui, o tempo parou,
Para que eu possa observar
O mundo acontecendo.
