Hoje eu ia ver o meu amigo João,

Depois daria uma longa caminhada

E tiraria muitas fotos.

Então mudei meus planos…

De se darem às estatísticas da pobreza.
Entretanto há aparições singelas
Como, por exemplo, a do quatro e do oito,
Que se reuniram
Para dar vida a uma casa!

Haverá dias escuros

E depois deles virão outros

Mais escuros ainda.

Mas haverá dias claros também,

Claro, seguidos por mais dias escuros!

O TEMPO PAROU- TIME HAS STOPPED

 

Um cachorro latiu ao longe,
De lá ouço leve som
De música alta.
Aqui, o tempo parou,
Para que eu possa observar
O mundo acontecendo.
 
A dog barked in the distance,
From there I hear a faint sound
Of loud music.
Here, time has stopped,
