Os corredores vão ficando estreitos

Na medida em que o tempo vira tempo. 

De forma que, cada vez, é mais difícil passar por ele.

E chega o dia, que de tão estreito, passa apenas um,

Então chega o dia da última passagem!

The corridors are getting narrower

As time turns to time.

So that, each time, it is harder to pass through it.

Olho por estas janelas imutáveis
E vejo a rua eterna.
Tenho algo em comum com esta cidade.
Enquanto ela é sempre a mesma,
Por lei,
Eu, por não ter lei,
Sou como ela, sempre o mesmo.
 
I look through these unchanging windows
And I see the eternal street.

A efusão do eu,

Vulcânica manifestação

De sentimentos tão profundos

Como são as profundezas da terra,

Cataclismo querendo falar

Querendo impor os seus desígnios,

Querendo machucar

Mas também querendo chorar

Buscando se fazer entender

Como sempre acontece

Na densa linguagem

Com que a natureza se manifesta!

The outpouring of oneself,

Volcanic activity

Of such deep feelings

How are the depths of the earth,

Cataclysm wanting to talk

Wanting to impose their designs,

wanting to hurt

But also wanting to cry

Seeking to make himself understood

As always happens

In the dense language

On what nature manifests!

Um leve rumor,
Uma aflição.
Aqui, ali e lá,
Sons diferentes,
Rumores inesperados,
Gritos sem som,
Vindos da alma.
Aflitos,
Pois os rumos
São os rumores.
